About Daren

Daren Niemi is a trial and litigation attorney in the Podor Law Firm's Solon, Ohio office. He represents people injured through no fault of their own in Ohio and Indiana, with a focus on personal injury litigation and jury trials.

Daren attended Hiram College, where he double-majored in Environmental Studies and Theatre, played rugby, and was a member of the Environmental Club. Before law school he spent six years working as a fishing guide in Alaska, then earned his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Guiding in Alaska taught him to stay calm and adjust when conditions change, and he brings that same steadiness to litigation. His theatre background helps in the courtroom too: he knows how to tell a client's story to a jury clearly and in plain language.

Daren prepares every case with the possibility of trial in mind, keeps his clients informed as their case moves forward, and explains each step so they can make confident decisions about their claim.

Outside the office, Daren still spends as much time fishing as he can. He also enjoys hiking, supports environmental causes, and performs in local theatre productions.
